Our vision is to identify, sponsor, and spiritually mentor young women in Uganda who are called to rise—despite broken or absent family structures—into their full God-given potential through higher education and discipleship.
“He had brought up Hadassah, that is Esther, his uncle’s daughter, for she had neither father nor mother… and Mordecai took her as his own daughter.” — Esther 2:7
Inspired by the story of Esther, a young woman whose parents had died, the Be My Mordecai Initiative recognizes the power of godly mentorship and strategic support. Mordecai didn’t just care for Esther—he raised her, guided her, and positioned her for divine purpose. In that same spirit, our Be My Mordecai initiative stands in the gap for young women whose father, for whatever reason are absent, offering the advocacy and covering they lack.

We are currently sponsoring two young ladies—our story of hope, through our 'Be My Mordecai Initiative'.
Our first story of hope is Kamuyati Nandase – a bright, determined young lady navigating life without the necessary support of her father.
Jovia Musimenta is the second young lady being supported through our Be My Mordecai Initiative. She is someone who—despite numerous personal and financial challenges—has shown resilence and remarkable determination.
In some way, both girls face the emotional and financial void of paternal absence, and in line with the vision of our 'Be My Mordecai' initiative, MBTW has stepped in to provide not just tuition, but mentorship and a sense of belonging.
When young women are seen, supported, and spiritually equipped, they rise—not just for themselves, but for their families, communities, and nations. This initiative is not charity—it’s kingdom investment.
You can help empower two of our remarkable young ladies with their education by contributing using and of the following means:
Your contribution covers tuition or living expenses. You can also give to sustain the initiative, and expand its reach, increasing our number of beneficiaries.
